The last few mornings have been cold here in Chicago - right around 0 or just below. But then it gets warmer during the day. This leads to quite a dramatic scene on the river as the 'warmth' of the water hits the cold morning air. I'd have stayed to look at it longer, except that did I mention it was COLD? And I have to take my hand out of a glove to take the picture.
